CUSTOM POLISHING AND FABRICATION

 

Andover has the capability of polishing a wide variety of materials to very precise specifications. Using double-sided polishers we can achieve transmitted wavefont errors down to 1/10 wave, and parallelism to within a few seconds of arc. Sizes range from a few millimeters to 250mm and larger. Automation assures consistency and repeatability.

MACHINE FABRICATION

Andover’s 3-axis machining centers allow us to fabricate complex tooling quickly and accurately, greatly reducing the lead time for custom components. We have numerous CNC machining centers custom-designed for glass fabrication. Sawing, milling, coring, and beveling can all be performed quickly and accurately.
