LONG WAVE PASS EDGE FILTERS
Long-wave pass (LWP) edge filters are engineered to transmit longer wavelengths while blocking shorter wavelengths. These filters are especially useful in fluorescence applications, where they serve as effective emission filters, and in photometry, where they excel as order sorting filters. Andover’s LWP filters feature a sharp transition between transmission and reflection, ensuring precise wavelength selection.
Built with robust first-surface dielectric coatings, our LWP filters withstand typical cleaning and handling, maintaining their integrity and performance. Standard LWP filters are available in 50nm increments from 300nm to 1000nm, with custom options available to meet specific requirements.
